The landscape is surreal, moon-like and the sky above is huge. We parked the Vespa and went for a 6-mile backcountry hike. Saw a coyote, lots of antelopes, cows and possibly some bisons, one viper I almost stepped on, many different birds, wild rabbits. Petr took lots and lots of pictures.
In the afternoon we drove out of the park to Keystone, tomorrow Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore. We have wireless connection.
